September 1, 2022, Hong Kong – Real estate private equity firm Gaw Capital Partners ranked second in PERE’s APAC Fund Manager Guide, a ranking based on capital raised over a five-year period, which shows the top 50 fund managers in the APAC region. As announced by PERE, Gaw Capital Partners has raised equity of US$11.53 billion in the APAC region over the past five years and commanded assets of over US$35.2 globally since its inception in 2005.
Gaw Capital Partners successfully completed its first close of Gateway Real Estate Fund VII at US$1.2 billion in 2021. Gaw Capital also completed the final close of Gaw Growth Equity Fund I at US$430 million in 2021 to invest in proptech and real estate-related operating companies that are high growth and highly scalable with a primary geographical focus on Pan-Asia. The firm was also highlighted for launching two data center platforms in China and two in Pan-Asia. In September 2020, the firm closed fundraising for its first IDC platform, which invested in a portfolio of projects in partnership with IDC developers and operators in China, bringing the total equity raised to approximately US$1.3 billion with the aim to build “green, efficient, innovative and recyclable” data center clusters. For now, Gaw Capital’s data center platform comprises of data centers located in China, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea and Vietnam.

Operating under the SISA brand and developed by Gaw Capital Partners, the school houses up to 600 full-time high school students in its 6-storey tall academic block and 7-floor dormitory.
