Goodwin Gaw has been the Chairman, Managing Principal and Co-Founder of Gaw Capital Partners since 2005. Mr. Gaw is also a member of the investment committee of Gaw Capital Partners. Mr. Gaw has over 25 years of real estate investment and management experience in the United States and Asia. Mr. Gaw has also served as the Vice Chairman of Pioneer Global Group (SEHK: 224), a company listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited since 1994, and Founder and President of Downtown Properties, LLC, a multi-faceted real estate investment, management and development company, since 1991. Mr. Gaw was awarded “Industry Figure of the Year” by Global PERE Awards in 2013, 2015 and 2018. Mr. Gaw holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the School of Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania, a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Science in Construction Management from Stanford University.

Kenneth Gaw has been the Managing Principal and Co-Founder of Gaw Capital Partners since 2005, and is also a member of the investment committee of GCP. Mr. Gaw has over 25 years of real estate investment and management experience globally. Mr. Gaw has also served as an Executive Director of Pioneer Global Group (SEHK: 224) since 1994 and became the Managing Director since 1999. He has also served as Director of Hong Kong Thailand Business Council since 2003. Mr. Gaw was awarded “Outstanding Entrepreneur” by Capital Entrepreneur in 2017. Mr. Gaw was a former director at Dusit Thani Public Company, a leading hotel company listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, Home Inns & Hotel Management Inc., a leading budget hotel operator in China previously listed on NASDAQ, Wah Kwong Shipping Holding Ltd., a global shipping company previously listed in Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and Siam Food Product Public Company, a leading food manufacturer and exporter previously listed on the stock exchange in Thailand. Mr. Gaw also worked in the Structured Finance Group at Goldman Sachs in New York and in Corporate Finance at Goldman Sachs in Asia. Mr. Gaw holds a Bachelor of Science, Magna Cum Laude, in Applied Mathematics and Economics from the Brown University.

Christina Gaw has been the Managing Principal, Global Head of Capital Markets of Gaw Capital Partners since 2008. Ms. Gaw has also served as Co-chair of Alternative Investments of Gaw Capital Partners since 2021. Ms. Gaw has served as an Executive Director of Pioneer Global Group (SEHK: 224) since 2014, as well as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Member of the Sustainability Committee of CLP Holdings (SEHK: 2), a company listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited engaged in the power business in the Asia Pacific region, since 2020. She was also appointed as the member of the Main Board and GEM Listing Committees of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited in 2022. Ms. Gaw was named Global PERE's Rainmaker 30 and awarded "Business Women of the Year Awards" by CEO Today Global Awards in 2019, and named as one of the Top 10 PERE's Women of Influence in 2021. Ms. Gaw has over 25 years of investment banking and investment management experience in the Asia Pacific region, having worked at UBS and Goldman Sachs for 15 years during her investment banking career, covering major institutional clients around the globe in Asian Equities. Prior to joining Gaw Capital Partners, Ms. Gaw was a Managing Director at UBS, heading up the Asia Pacific Capital Introduction effort for alternative products; prior to that, she was the Head of Regional Sales in Equities Distribution at UBS. Ms. Gaw holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco.

Humbert Pang has been the Managing Principal and Head of China of Gaw Capital Partners since 2006. Mr. Pang is also the Co-chair of Alternative Investments and a member of the investment committee of Gaw Capital Partners. Mr. Pang has over 25 years of real estate experience in Mainland China and previously served as a Director of Shanghai Li Xing Hotels Limited and Landton Limited, joint ventures between Shui On Group and Shanghai Hotel Investments Limited. Prior to joining Gaw Capital Partners, Mr. Pang was one of the founding members of First Pacific Davies’ China operation, which was later acquired by Savills Plc, and served as the Regional Director and Head of Investment and valuation consultancy at Savills China Limited. Mr. Pang is also a professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors, and a Senior Visiting Fellow at The Land Economy Department of Cambridge University. Mr. Pang holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of London and a Master of Science in Property Investment from City, University of London.

Alan Lee has been the Chief Operating Officer of Gaw Capital Partners since 2013 and previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of Gaw Capital Partners from 2005 to 2013. Mr. Lee has over 25 years of experience in capital and debt financings including initial public offering, international share placings, credit rating and bond issuances. Mr. Lee has also served as an Executive Director of Pioneer Global Group (SEHK: 224) since 2013. Mr. Lee is a Chartered Professional Account in Canada. Mr. Lee holds a Bachelor of Science from the Imperial College of Science and Technology at the University of London, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto.

Prior to joining Gaw Capital Partners, Tony Lo served as Director of Wachovia Bank, in charge of real estate debt and equity investments in the Greater China. He worked as Head of Investments for both Jones Lang LaSalle and DTZ in Hong Kong for over 15 years. Mr. Lo graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and has been a Chartered Surveyor since 1989.

Joseph Chan joined Gaw Capital Partners in 2005 and has 20 years of experience in real estate private equity and special situations investment throughout Asia, US and Europe. Prior to his current role at Gaw Capital Partners, Mr. Chan served as Executive Director and Head of the China real estate in the Global Special Opportunities Group at J.P. Morgan. Mr. Chan received his B.S. in Economics, magna cum laude, with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Valerie Yip has over 15 years in real estate, spanning from acquisition, asset management, development, and investment banking throughout US, Asia, and Europe. Previously, Ms. Yip worked as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley Real Estate in both New York and Hong Kong managing real estate advisory transactions (including IPO and corporate restructuring) and principal investment. Ms. Yip received a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with Latin honors and Master of Business Administration from INSEAD.

Imelda Tham has over 20 years of solid real estate investment and asset management experience in Asia and the U.S. Prior to joining Gaw Capital Partners, Ms. Tham was an Associate at Credit Suisse Private Equity Asia. Before relocating to Asia, Ms. Tham worked at Carlyle’s Real Estate Fund in Washington D.C., and closed transactions across the hotel, multi-family apartment, and senior housing sectors in North America. Ms. Tham also worked at Citigroup’s Investment Bank in New York, providing M&A advisory and financing services to clients in the U.S., Asia, Australia and Latin America. She received a Bachelor of Science in Economics, majoring in Finance, from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Isabella Lo has over 20 years of experience in real estate and investment advisory, spanning from acquisition, asset management and investment banking. Ms. Lo is spearheading Gaw Capital’s investments in Japan and Taiwan, spanning office, retail, residential, hospitality and data centers. Prior to joining Gaw Capital, Ms. Lo was a part of the Real Estate Investment Banking Group at Deutsche Bank advising on transactions in China, US, UK and Continental Europe. She received a Bachelor of Science in Economics, majoring in Finance and Accounting, from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.  

Mike Hu is a Managing Director and US Principal at Gaw Capital USA and leads the Capital Markets team in the US. He is based in Los Angeles, the headquarters for Gaw Capital USA, and is responsible for capital formation, co-investments, separate account investments, investor relations and marketing. Mike joined Gaw Capital in 2011 and was previously a member of Gaw Capital's acquisitions team based in Hong Kong. In December 2014, he was relocated to Los Angeles to help grow the US business. Before joining Gaw Capital, Mike was with Tishman Speyer in London and New York, where he was part of their Leadership Development Program. While at Tishman Speyer, he completed rotations in acquisitions, debt financing / restructuring, property and asset management, and design & construction. Prior to Tishman Speyer, Mike was a strategy and operations management consultant focused primarily on the real estate and energy industries. He received a BA in Economics / International Area Studies with college and Latin honors from UCLA and an MBA from London Business School. He is conversationally fluent in Mandarin Chinese and has extensive experience working in Asia, Europe and the US.

Dan Lee has over 17 years of real estate investment and advisory experience. He has directly transacted and executed the business plan on over US$1 billion of US real estate assets including office buildings, residential multifamily, hotels, retail shopping centers, live music venues and mixed-use projects. Prior to joining Gaw Capital USA, he was an executive at a national residential homebuilder, NYC-based development/value-add investment firm and a global management consulting company.  

Mr. Tiehu Liu was admitted to practice law in New York and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Prior to Gaw Capital Partners, Mr. Liu worked for Baker & McKenzie in Hong Kong and Willkie Farr and Gallagher in New York. Mr. Liu received a Master of Law and a B.A. in Economics from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing and an LL.M. in taxation from New York University and a juries doctorate from the University of Connecticut.

Christophe Vielle is currently the Chairman and Co-founder of GCP Hospitality. Since he launched the company in 2008, his vision and strategic direction have led to the establishment of a portfolio of over 60 properties and an outstanding performance record featuring consecutive years of double-digit IRR. In addition to his role at GCP Hospitality, Mr.Vielle holds dual roles as Chairman & CEO of C2 Capital, a private equity firm with a particular focus on the Portuguese market, and Chairman of Hospes Hotels. The latter is a renowned collection of 10 boutique luxury hotels situated in Spain and Portugal. Mr. Vielle's distinguished career spanning four decades includes numerous senior management roles within the hospitality industry, having had successful tenures at Accor, King Power Group, New Way Limited and Shangri-La. Christophe Vielle's leadership is characterized by his ability to navigate through various complex and challenging situations. His impressive repertoire of accomplishments includes revitalizing struggling operations, successfully launching and managing hotels and restaurants, innovating within the hospitality sector, and expanding well-established operations.

Mr. Lo joined Gaw Capital Partners in 2014 and is responsible for asset management of the Fund’s commercial property portfolio in Mainland China and Hong Kong, including asset management and enhancement initiatives. With his outstanding performance in asset management, he was promoted to Managing Director - Asset Management, managing 29 community mall portfolios in Hong Kong, under the management of Gaw Capital Partners, in 2020. He has over 20 years of experiences in real estate asset management and investment. Before joining Gaw Capital, Mr. Lo was the Senior Associate Director of Mapletree Investment Pte Ltd. He had also held various managerial roles in major asset development and management companies in Mainland China and Hong Kong such as Hutchison Whampoa Properties, Sun Hung Kai Properties etc. Mr. Lo holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate and Construction degree and a Master of Business Administration degree, both from the University of Hong Kong. He is also a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors.  

Edward Law has over 30 years of real estate experience in Greater China. Prior to joining Gaw Capital, Mr. Law used to work as the Senior Executive of Jones Lang LaSalle and Hyatt International Hotels. Mr. Law received a Bachelor in Hotel Management from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Mr. Ong joined Gaw Capital in 2021 as Managing Director – Head of IDC Platform, Asia (Ex-China). He spearheads Internet Data Centre (IDC) platform investments for Gaw Capital Partners outside of the China region. Prior to joining Gaw Capital Partners, Mr. Ong worked in the Keppel Group of companies for 10 years in a number of roles including being a Senior Vice President and since 2014, as the Head of Strategy and Global Investments at Keppel Data Centres, a regional data centre owner and operator with over 25 data centres spread across the APAC and European regions. He has over 20 years of international experience in data centres, telecom and submarine cable development projects. He has strong track record in fundraising, growing data centre businesses in key markets in Asia and Europe, and leading investment teams to acquire data centres in Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Germany and in the Netherlands. He was ranked by Data Economy in 2018 as one of the world’s top 25 finance deal makers in the data centre and cloud industry. Mr. Ong received his Bachelor of Accounting degree from the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and graduated from the Sloan Fellows Program at Stanford University with a Master of Science in Management from the Graduate School of Business in 2007. He is a Chartered Accountant (CA) in Singapore and Fellow of CPA Australia (FCPA) and a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accounts (ISCA) and CPA Australia.

Mr. Gupta joined Gaw Capital in 2022 as Managing Director and Head of India. He will spearhead Gaw Capital Partners’ foray into India market, building a professional team on the ground to capture attractive investment opportunities across real estate spectrum. Prior to joining Gaw Capital Partners, Nitin worked as Managing Director and Head of India - Real Estate with Macquarie Asset Management business. Nitin worked with Macquarie Group for over 14 years in a few roles including Head of India for Macquarie Capital business. During his term with Macquarie Group, Nitin led market leading transactions of more than US$7 billion, and advised global investors on their investments into India. Prior to joining Macquarie Group in 2008, Nitin worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers (Corporate Finance Division) for 10 years and Industrial Development Bank of India (Merchant Banking Division) for over 4 years. Nitin has a strong track record in transaction sourcing, structuring, fundraising, and successful transaction closures of nearly three decades. Nitin received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Shriram College of Commerce, Delhi University, India, and has professional degrees of Chartered Accountant (Gold Medalist), Cost Accountant and Company Secretary.

Andy Chiu joined Gaw Capital Partners in 2014 and is the Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Chiu has over 14 years of experience in financial services industry. Prior to joining GCP, Mr. Chiu worked in PricewaterhouseCoopers Hong Kong. Mr. Chiu is a Certified Public Accountant in Hong Kong, a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Financial Risk Manager. Mr. Chiu holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance, with First Class Honors, from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Annora Ng is a Managing Director at Gaw Capital Partners based in Singapore and is responsible for capital formation, co-investments, separate account investments, investor relations and marketing. Ms. Ng has over 10 years of experience in real estate investment advisory, including fund formation, acquisitions, recapitalizations and investor relations. Ms. Ng joined Gaw Capital in 2013 and was based in Hong Kong until 2022 when she relocated to Singapore to help grow the South East Asia business and investor base. Before joining Gaw Capital, Ms. Ng was a founding member and research analyst at HKGolden50, a Hong Kong based non-profit research institute. Ms. Ng received her B.A. in Government (International Relations and Comparative Politics) from Dartmouth College.

Mr. Taniguchi joined Gaw Capital in 2024 as Managing Director - Head of Asset Management, Japan. Overseeing the firm's asset management in Japan, he brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record to the table. Mr. Taniguchi has nearly 30 years of work experience in the finance and asset management industry. Before joining Gaw Capital, Mr. Taniguchi served as the President & CEO of First Brothers Asset Management Co., Ltd. (FBAM) from 2022 to 2024, where he demonstrated unparalleled leadership in asset management, principal investment, and portfolio management. He spent over 14 years at First Brothers Co., Ltd. and First Brothers Asset Management Co., Ltd. in various leadership roles. During his tenure, he managed assets worth billions of yen with more than 180 assets over Japan. Mr. Taniguchi also played an instrumental role in transitioning the company's focus from third-party asset management to principal investment and ventured into VC/PE investments. Prior to that, he held positions at Aetos group, MID group, Hudson Japan, and Kajima group, maintaining expertise in comprehensive asset management, investment, internal control, as well as team management. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Law from the Osaka Metropolitan University (formerly Osaka City University).
